*94.  In a compound microscope, the objective has a focal length of 0.60 cm, while the eyepiece has a focal length of 2.0 cm. The separation between the objective and the eyepiece is L = 12.0 cm. Another microscope that has the same angular magnification can be constructed by interchanging the two lenses, provided that the distance between the lenses is adjusted to a value L. Find L’.

For a microscope we know

Solve for L

So first find  in the configuration.  We will assume a near point of 25 cm

Now we plug into the L’ formula switching eye piece and objective focal lengths.
